The only bit that was NQR for me in Rogue One was Tarkin's first scene.  Even watching it again the other day.  I stopped noticing by his next scene.

Nobody cares, but Wedge Antilles is my second favorite character from "A New Hope", only after Obi Wan who is my absolute favorite.

Nah, but Wedge would've been pretty ace.

I think Wedge may have been excluded due to a simple continuity reason: the Battle of Yavin was apparently the first time he saw the Death Star ("Look at the size of that thing!").  If he'd been at Scarif, wouldn't he have seen it there?
