Imagine, afraid of spoilers in multiplayer game. lol. Don't want to see a spoilers? Don't read the news. But there is a people, really many people who like spoilers. Really dude, I'm not support this ridiculous spoiler-hysterical culture anyway.
Any secret of this game will be shown immediately after AFE release and many people who themselves want to explore the secrets of the game will be buried under avalanche of spoilers.
This isn't a multiplayer game, like
Predator: Hunting Grounds or
Left 4 Dead. Yes, the co-op component is one of the key features and selling-points, but otherwise it's a campaign-driven shooter. I'm not too fussed about spoilers in the sense of plot twists etc, but if we reach a point where we have so much information on a title that a wiki page could be completed before it's even released, what's the point of even playing it? A big part of why we read books, watch movies, and play games is the process of discovery - being there in the moment as the story unfurls.
If that isn't the experience you want, you can wait until after release, watch a full game play-through, and then decide if it's something you want to buy. I won't have to worry about major spoilers as I've already pre-ordered the game and will be experiencing it first-hand on release day.
