I'm just amazed that this comic managed to make
Spoiler
a fight between a chair-suit Engineer and an alien queen

so uninteresting.

The Alien art in Earth War was pretty decent.  The inking and pretty much everything else - not so much.

Anyone think that Earth War/Female war would benefit from being Reprinted in black and white ?

Agreed. Though I do give Inhuman Condition a pass based on the character revelations towards the end.

I'll have #4 today, yeah it's some of the worst aliens art ever put to page.

Aliens L&D ranks right in there with the terrible art of Aliens Lovesick, Aliens Female War, Aliens Inhuman Condition, and Prometheus L&D

I picked up #4 last week. Was ok, nothing too special. I'm going to wait to judge the whole though, when all the series' are out and we see the big picture. I still hate the artwork in the Aliens run though. Really struggle with it. So glad Thies is back for the next run.

I'll have to try and pick up my copy before the weekend.

I'm looking forward to AvP too, Ultra but I think more so that I can see Thies' artwork again.

I just read #4 on digital, and it was OK.
Spoiler
The story is just what you would expect. That being said, what we see of the fight between the queen and the Engineer was very cool. I'm looking forward to the AVP series. It will be good to have Ahab back in a larger role.

Hulking Reviewer has a positive review of #4. There aren't too many spoilers, but beware if you want to go in blind.

The excision from your personal continuity.

Just because I don't include it in what 'I' favour as continuity does not me I don't like it. I think it's weaker than other entries to the AVP universe as a whole so far but I am enjoying it. Same as I enjoyed 'Fire and Stone' enough to Buy the Hardcover edition.

Any other assumptions you would like to make ?

'Cos you like Defiance but not Life & Death.

So what makes you think that  I do not like 'Life and Death' ?
