Avatar: The Way Of Water

It was a film. It was exactly what I expected. Most generic sequel in terms of story. 3D looked really good, but the changing of frame rate was a little jarring.

Men in Black Actually has aged very well. Vincent D'Onofrio steals the show.

Flash Gordon (1980)

"I never thought you'd stoop to necrophilia." Damn, James Bond is a savage.

Vesper

A pretty interesting sci-fi movie, in both; visually and narratively speaking.

Spoiler
Expect an atmospheric fairy tale set in an almost post-apocalyptic medieval future with biopunk oddities.

Eight Legged Freaks

Brought my tablet to the gym and watched an old favorite on the treadmill.

As someone who's always been really into giant spiders in movies and fiction since I was a kid, this has always been one of my favorites.

Not the greatest movie ever made, but I think it's a really solid and fun horror comedy. It's like a cosmic gumbo of films like Gremlins, Arachnaphobia, and the classic creature features of the 50s like Them! and Tarantula.

I love it and watch it probably once or twice a year.

Aliens (1986) 35mm Cinema Print

Someone bought an original Aliens cinema print, scanned it and made a full video.  I really enjoyed watching this.

The Cleansing Hour

Pretty entertaining horror movie on Shudder. Fairly solid plot, with a very ambitious ending.

TC or DC? I'm guessing TC for obvious reasons.

Apocalypse Now Redux

Not bad, but I could do without the Merovingian's French plantation.

One of my all time fave movies. I was actually introduced to it in early high school by a mate who actually had an audio version of the film (all the dialogue, etc).

I will admit I actually enjoy that plantation scene (aware it's not necessary and really detours things a bit).
