The Big Picture Show
Comic-Con is currently talking to the major Hollywood studios and the following films are under consideration for presentations at this year's event. It's important to note that this part of Comic-Con programming is worked on up to the last possible minute, so expect changes and plenty of surprises.
Please note this is only a preliminary list and definitely subject to change.

As always, Comic-Con's attendees will be treated to panels and, in some cases, sneak peeks at exclusive footage from these films months before they debut on neighborhood theater screens.

Its actually a fine title if its really the title, "no piece on earth"... kinda like that :)
I think its stupid. I like survival of the fittest better. It gives the movie a more, menacing, action type of look.
This title kind of sucks - sounds more like a tagline or the title of a comic book. I'll wait for official confirmation, though.
I think "no piece on earth" sounds more epic then survival of the fittest, maybe Colin can tell us something about the whole thing... ::)

I didn't mind Survival of the Fittest either as it is a homage to Charles Darwin and his book Origin of Species on evolution. Something the religious types went batshit over.

This isn't going to be a 'big epic movie', the art director said it was small. Even if it was a big movie, 'Alien vs. Predator 2' is more than enough.

Okay, firstly, colours have been disabled permanently, now. All it takes is one person to ruin it for everybody else. >:( And I advise you to stop underlining every word and starting each word with a capital letter. It's really getting to me now.
About the title, I hate it too. I actually checked that page on Comic-Con just the other day and I'm sure it just said "Alien vs Predator 2". Now they've changed it to that.
They shouldn't give it a subtitle at all to be honest. Just call it Alien vs Predator 2. Or Aliens vs Predator 2 but that could get confusing with the game.
Or, AvP2. Sounds great. Thanks for disabling colours.

Like someone said before, "No Peace On Earth" sounds like a tag-line, and would be fine as one at X-mas. I'd either call it "Aliens Vs. Predator" (maybe slightly confusing, but they could use both of the old-school fonts for the names which would be cool), or "Alien Vs. Predator: *something something etc etc*". I'm not hugely keen on them putting a "2" in there, as it seems a lot has gone into this movie to make it better than the original, and shouldn't be too associated with it - but if it follows on directly from there, then perhaps it should be called "AVP2" to show continuity?
It's nice to know you pay attention to what you type, AB2K, but we pay enough attention to what you say simply cos you posted, not cos'a the underlining.
As for you, Jungle Hunter, that's hardly necessary.
Its a tough call, I think it should have a title of some sort myself, or a tag line but perhaps this is just a gimmick to see what our reaction is..
When you think about it, we have had pretty much Zero "official" news or statements , apart from the very vague bits and pieces, pictures popping up then being removed....etc etc, leaked scripts...
This could perhaps be a FOX (or brothers) strategy this time round, put these little pieces of info out, make it look like a mistake and then pick up on our responses and amend if necessary.
I dont think they can risk the backlash of the AVP Galaxy crew agian! ;)
Think of it from a cinema-goer POV. Who would go see a movie titled that? Sounds like a spoof or something.

What amazes me is the secrecy regarding the tagline and the efforts to say that the SOTF was just temporary and then they attach this to it... :o
It is a tagline so corny and so quickly assembled that it made me start to think that the SOTF was way better than this...
But since a title or a tagline doesn't make a movie and because a tagline never was enough from preventing me from seeing the movie (which it won't) then this is, for me, just a small bump on the long road to the premiere which, hopefully, will NOT BE Christmas Day (on the US at least) here hoping that they converge all the premiere dates to just one (avoiding spoiler reviews for those twitching with impatience... ;)) ...
Let's hope we don't have any more unpleasant surprises like this one or worse... (knock on wood)... 8) ;)

Nobody besides us would understand the gag (EARTH Hive)...

Thinking again over the idea of "Aliens Vs. Predator", okay granted this is the same name as the comics and games, is that really a bad thing? I mean, how many people going to see this film are all *that* aware of the different aspects of the franchise? The comics and games could easily have just been called "Alien Vs. Predator" anyway, so it would have to be used again for the films!
To justify calling this one "Aliens Vs. Predator" we have the fact that:
- There will be many alienS against ONE predator.
- That the alien head design is reminicent of "Aliens" too.
- It's the first sequel to the original lol.
- It's said to be more in-line regarding fast-pasing action with that of "Aliens".
- err, that's it ;D
But you see what I mean. You could add a extra subtitle like "AVP2: Aliens Vs. Predator" (or the other way round) and people would see it's the sequel to AVP, but also that it harks back to the original squel of "Alien". And like I said in a previous post, use the orginal "ALIENS" and "PREDATOR" fonts 8)

I dont even wanna get into the Resident evil movies cause they have absolutly nothing to do with the games. Ive only seen the first and thats enough for me.
