I would think that a species as advanced as the Predators probably have very large populations in their societal-sub groups. Put another way, I'd suspect a Clan of Predators probably has as many people as a European nation, or perhaps a large corporation. I wouldn't say they had as many as, say, the USA, though, because:
1. They seem to lead violent, dangerous lives, which cuts down on numbers
2. They seem to live for a long time, which would discourage over-population
But I would imagine the powerful clans would have more than one of the "motherships" seen in AvP, plus large amounts of land, plentiful "common folk" (to do the dirty work beneath the hunters), and a small cadre of elders/statesmen/weapon-smiths.
But that's just a guess, based on how I'd imagine Predator society should work, so who knows? Maybe there's 16 total Predators wandering the space lanes, and they actually hardly ever lose.
