OK, here's the thing guys...

I don't care about any of this shit. I don't care about whether it's marketable, or whether it communicates a certain idea, or whether it has a basis in canon, or the plausibility, or anything else. I am arguing only for aesthetic preference here:

I WANT HULKING, SWOLE-AS-f**k  PSYCHO AMAZON PREDATORS GODDAMNIT.

I want the council of blood-honored wise-women to meet in the sacred lodge to determine whether G'r'rryk One-Eye should *just* be ritually castrated for his failure to impregnate their chosen Daughter, or whether honor demands they flay him living to please the ancestors.

I want an expectant Mother predator to stand on the clan's mound roaring into the sky while her birthing pouch bursts in a torrent of blood and bile, out of which wiggle gross little leech-mouthed predator babies, grown strong after months of eating their less-developed siblings in the furnace-womb.

I want the insane thousand-year-old hunch-backed matchmaker to declare that, yes, this male who beat an opponent to death with his own severed arm would be a fine suitor for R'rra'grr Sixtits, but the Xenomorph entrails foretold an ill-omen, so they should stick with that nice boy who beheaded the viking.

I want 10-foot MONSTER female pred ripping through a squad of Colonial Marines with a smart-disk like it ain't no thang, with her gross slimy pups latched onto her chest as she does so.

In short, I WANT THEM TO BE PREDATORS.

I would find it interesting if male Predator stayed in male clans and female Predators stayed in female clans, and they only came together and perhaps violently mated every so many years, in a Vulcan Pon Farr sort of way.

But looking towards presenting a female Predator on screen and beyond, I believe it would be best for females to be treated as clearly different, but equal in every threatening way. The tougher female concept can be awesome at first, truly awesome, but then we may run into the Aliens situation that was happening in the 80's where a single Xenomorph didn't appear that frightening anymore compared to the Queen. You make them equals instead, just with different appearances, hunting techniques and weapons, it would be a non-franchise-breaking expansion, and help the longevity of the Predator franchise as a whole in my humble opinion. And would be very cool.

So like sort of micro-evolution, where they're almost a different species altogether but still can reproduce together?

No, not suggesting to go that far, just vast physical differences solely due to sexual dimorphism (like the peafowl or elephant seal, but more) and then different behavioral patterns and hunting practices due to their different clans and standards of conduct.

When highly advanced like the predators, I think there'd be predators with different jobs such as engineering, industrial designing, manufacturing, farming, etc. There might even be predator psychologists for the predators who go through PTSD. Or maybe they don't get PTSD. Or maybe their remedy is done with AI. If it's not AI that creates and support such tech, then there must be a large variety of predators of both genders who aren't warriors. There might be nerdy predators.

Bugs, such as Ants, are complex problem solvers TQ. So "smart bugs" as Alice put it, would feasibly be able to figure that out I think.
