That photo confirms and denies my argument. It shows yes in fact it was his legs and feet in the film. It also shows why in the film the heel spike is missing. Balaji has some kind of sole on his feet, hence an additional appendage!

The 'sole' explains the rounded image in the film. Its overshadowing the heel spike completely in the blurry final film shot

Look at the soles of the Alien feet. He is wearing soles. The soles cover the spikes on the heels Giger created. Those heels are what we see in the film, not Gigers heel spikes. So my argument was stupid but right all along
