I think 2022 is a good bet.

Definitely!

How exciting is it to think that by August 13th, they'll be done filming? By summer's end they'll be full-on editing!

Christmas release is possible, or wishful thinking?

You mean 2021 ? I think the latter.

I think Christmas 2021 is the wishful thinking.  :)

One can dream. The sooner the better, we aren't getting any younger guys!

Christmas this year would be worrying. That's a rush job.

You are probably right, as you almost always do about this stuff. I've heard it's in pre-production for some time now and, as always, I'm hungry for more Predator stuff. Though I have to admit the premise sounds worrisome at best.

Worrisome at best? Sorry to hear that brother. With the Alberta location, the time period, the pre-colonist Comanche tribe, I have a high ceiling filled with hope for this one!

Maybe they will wait until Avatar 2 trailer release. I hope they wont until Avatar 2 movie release.

History period piece and tribal approach sounds cool and is all fine by me. The whole emancipation aspect worries me and is something I don't need in my Predator movie. Especially the way how it is done now-a-days. For me it lights up all caution red lights as much as genetic manipulation stuff from TP. We all know how the latter ended up.

Well ancient women warriors and their breaking of tradition is a story as old as time, and often an interesting story at that!  However, I get it's all about presentation. Someone can make me a juicy filet mignon, but if they serve it on an upside-down garbage lid, it ain't appetizing.

That's all there is Bro. That's what really matters, plot and presentation.  Do it right, you have Joanne d'Arc. Do it wrong, you have dreadful communist fembot from Solo.

16 September, 2022: Untitled 20th Century film

21 October, 2022: Untitled 20th Century film

These two dates look like possible Skulls release dates.

Nice one! Awesome find Goose! 👏

To be honest, I think this whole range of dates could be a target spot for Skulls:

10 June, 2022: Untitled 20th Century film
16 September, 2022: Untitled 20th Century film
21 October, 2022: Untitled 20th Century film
23 December, 2022: Untitled 20th Century film
13 January, 2023: Untitled 20th Century film

But I do think the September and October dates you picked out are most likely.  :)

Either those 2 or the 10 June however June seems too early. Can't see it being December and January is usually a dumping ground for films (sometimes a few gems though) or Oscar bait.
