The 101st Colonial Marine Division is a longstanding and experienced AVP/AVP2 company within the ONE ZERO ONE collective – 101st Colonial Marine Division have been active since early 1999 and we are returning for the latest AVP title.

We are currently recruiting for both new and experienced "AVP" players who are both dedicated and tactical minded enough to advance through the division as an integral part of an active squad. The ideal recruit must also be competent with all current available weapons systems and be able to maintain good tactical awareness while * in the field * .

We are looking at staffing three platoons consisting of four 4 man squads within : The 101st Colonial Marine Division.

Im at work atm but in a few hours ur accepted.

The 101ST now have some member hosted dedicated servers, please keep in mind that the servers are still in beta.

As soon as the beta process ends and servers become available to purchase from GSPs there will be a total of 3 dedicated servers up and running for UK / EU and USA regions.

I've just played a few games on your server.
Nice ping. Never got higher than 150 on an average of 100.

Those are some pretty nice pings, how are they in-game? Do have many lag spikes or any connection issues?

Lol I try those and get 1300-1600 pings. Damn Satellite!  >:(

I wish I could play online, I miss that. Though I say without bots and more server options it would get old. I cant wait until we can mod the game to add crouch and iron sights. Crouch is good to have the front row duck while the back row fires. lol

Hey MadAlice, the pings are pretty good on the server but we do get the odd connection timed out, i think this is a bug with the dedicated servers as it can be random.

Are you thinking of joining the 101ST?

Firefly101 i agree with you they do need to add a crouch option but i dont think they ever will as they have run out of buttons on the console controllers, but they should implement it for PC users esp for maps like pyramid that is a nightmare. On the other hand AVP doesnt need iron sights its not call of c0ck modern f@g 2 :).

Also firefly are you interested in joining the 101ST ?

I'm still holding out to see if the group i'm currently in pulls thru, but let me tell you. I don't see it's future being to bright. If I remain within the AvP gaming community of 2010, I have your gang locked dead to rights, however I don't want to set anything in stone.

Wow the 101st is still around? I used be one of you guys back when AvP2 was new. I some how ended up as the leader of blue platoon for a while much to MK_Ultra's dismay. Is he still around? If hes still clan leader I'm gonna die laughing don't think many if any clans have had same leader for 10+ years.

Yeah 101st will never die man we are most prob the longest standing clan in any game. Ultra is still around and leading the 101st :)

Update on servers, we have removed the US and UK servers to consolidate to one EU server

there are people that play on there, only problem we find as a clan at the moment is that 80% of the AVP community are preds, we are looking for a good set of marine players who are willing to play marine as there primary class.

Preds?? Really ? Everytime I play the preds are overrun by the other teams and there are only 2-3 preds,the rest are aliens and marines but mostly aliens lol

Yeah serious i was on a server last night 18 slot 3 marines the rest preds the server was full to. What servers got marines on since i played this game ive seen hardly any marines mostly preds and bugs. Point me in the direction of marines so i can recruit their a$$es :).

Why you don't look for recruits in Infestation servers? You know,this gamemode is for those who want more movie like experience,a classic Aliens VS Marines experience.The Infestation have the real marine players if you ask me.I play only infestation too,and TDM if the infestation server is full.To be honest I play this game because I want Aliens:Colonial Marines so bad.I hate predators since AvP 1.Well I don't care if somebody play in skirmish with predator but in VS modes - meh,I am hardcore Alien movies fan since I was a kid and I hate preds.

TIP: In focus mode the Predator is way more gay than normal.

We are always looking for recruits on any game mode, i went on infestation a few nights back with no luck. I cant wait for ACM should be amazing but i dont think it will be like AVP i have a feeling it will be like borderlands which is not a bad thing.
