I'm sorry what
The Capcom AvP arcade game was originally conceived as a tie-in to a Roland Emmerich-helmed AVP movie in the 90s. That's about the only information known about the film project.

They kept calling the PredAlien the Pralien or something, but I can't find the quote any more.

I did not know this! That makes perfect sense given Emmerich's 1990 movie 'Moon 44' which perfectly emulates the ships/ interiors / buildings /  vehicles and clothing of 'Alien' and 'Aliens' universe (as well as having Deckard's apartment wall tiles from 'Blade Runner') - he would have made a fine Alien /Predator movie if that was anything to go by aesthetically.

Yeah I meant the monster.  I don't think they were going to call the film that.

Emmerich delivered the goods with Stargate and Indepence Day and then kinda... really fell off. Maybe he could have done a fun AVP if he was operating in that mode of his earlier films, but he's also not really a filmmaker whose contributions to this franchise I'm really lamenting the loss of, either.

Moon 44.

Wow. Now there's a film I have not thought about in a long time. I'm all of a sudden 11 years old again.
