Alien or Predator?

The Aliens are to me the perfect monster design both visually and thematically!

It has everything that induces fear and disgust as well as arousal and fascination in humans which is unique!

It also pioneered many sci-fi and horror tropes that became so deeply rooted into fiction today that many forget where it all started...

Hmm I don't know which to pick Aliens are great but a bit one dimensional, just a bug hunt, only adding in marines and "the company" make an interesting story.  Predators are great but they only do one thing the "honourable hunt". 

I went for Aliens in the end as the universe has more possibilities.  (I love Predators too though)

love xenos, but they still freak me out. I've forced myself to get through a lot of thier stuff and the more I read the more I fear them. Illogical since they are fictional.

Predators are just anti heroes to me, same way people think of like deathstroke, red hood, or ghost rider. Love em to bits. Predator all the way!

Not to me. If there is anything I can award The Predator, it just doesn't take itself seriously, at all. It is so forgettable, and with a few beers I can laugh at some of the mildly entertaining loonies dumb jokes and watch the stupid popcorn flick action. But how Alien Resurrection takes much of itself seriously within itself and what it does to Ripley, it is just so harder for me to watch. The bigger you treat yourself, the harder you fall, and AR falls hard (to me).

Well, in that way I feel the same with The Predator. But the thing that most bothers me about The Predator is the fact that is doesn't takes itself seriously. With Alien Resurrection I admit that is a very bad movie and possible the worst of the Alien franchise, but it was my first Alien movie that I saw when I was a kid and it was my first entry to the series along the Alien 3 game for Genesis so I have a special love for it 😅
