I've actually never heard anyone refer to it by that name. Dog-Alien is the one I'm familiar with. Where have you heard 'Dragon'?

For shame  :D

All over the forums. :)

It's been used since at least the late nineties, back when I used to look at News Groups, too.

It because that what the crazed Prisoner calls it, a Dragon. Golic was his name.

You'll find him named Spike or The Dragon.

Alien3 One of the prisoners called it a Dragon.. shame on you for not knowing that. haha  only kidding.

I think runner works best. Its just a nickname that's easy to remember. There might be a more proper name that's like a sentence long... but "runner" is easy enough.

So, what did they call it in the Assembly cut?

It's typically known in fandom circles as the 'Dragon', based on the mythological comparisons made by a traumatised witness.

what about mutt Alien?
or K-Alien for k9?

just some ideas...

Then that would interfere with the K Series Xenos from AvP: Extinction.

See this is why we can not call it simply Dog Alien. Nearly all of us dislike the name Runner. Quad Xeno or Quad Alien does not sound good either.

Agreed! and a "Runner"... lack of a better name.

Dog Alien is all you need.

According to the Special Edition it would be the strange ox thing.

Nothing. Simply 'an alien'.

That's the best solution. "Ox alien" doesn't really sound right.
