The film doesn't show any more than we got in Alien; it doesn't "keep rolling" or "keep showing you", it cuts away after the kill like all the other movies. We see more of Parker's death than we do of Tyler's.
Your original complaint was about the death itself, not what happens to the body afterwards. And Fede's comments are about the deaths as well. There's definitely more of Tylers death directly shown than Parker's. With Parker you get quick cuts of alien lips being pulled back, Parker screaming, alien jaw releasing, jaw hitting bowl of jelly, or whatever was used. For Tyler, you get similar shots of the alien's jaw first, but also a single camera angle on both Tyler and the alien while the jaw goes in and out, leaving a hole in Tyler's head. We never see in the same way what's left of Parker's head. And that's really all Fede was saying.
