Cowboy Bebop is one of those shows that would translate to film well.  Just like Ghost In The Shell.  Unlike Dragonball.

I'd rather not see that made live action. Cowboy Bebop was one of very few animes I enjoyed. I don't see this movie turning out too well.

You can't put down a good western movie with jazz characterized by fast tempos and improvisation based on harmonic structure.

Its still one of my favorite animes of all time though and has probably the best opening I have ever heard or seen in a while.

Also, what the hell is this going to be about? Where will it take place in the story?

The only thing I can think worth telling is the story of when Spike left the syndicate. You get bits and pieces of it in the show, enough to put it together, but it would still be cool to see. To see Spike and Vicious when they were friends and then when they turn against each other, Spike's "death," the whole lot of it. Frankly, I don't know what else there is worth seeing besides that. Anyway I'm just rambling now.

I do know that a live action movie of this will suck though, especially with Reeves in it.

Cowboy bebop is one the best anime series ever created. The animated movie is also great.  Who the hell had this idea?  BURN FOR YOUR IGNORENCE!!  (person who thought this was a good idea erupts into flames)

Also, shame on the creators for allowing such a thought.

I'm still looking forward to Akira.

Akira is the first great Anime classic.  NO ANIME LIVE ACTION MOVIES EVER!!!!!
