Just for clarity, it doesn't mean hold off indefinitely. It just means for right now while they are still working out how they want to move forward with the specific AvP license. It's not that they'd never look backwards ever again.
There has been that one book (that was mostly done before the buyout), but I'm very sure we will see AvP stuff again in the future. It's all a matter of when. I seriously think they are testing the waters and see how much weight and hype the new projects can hold once they release to see if they want to go forward with AvP again.
Also, no answer on Wolf, (or even Predalien/Chet for the matter who I said to ask about). The folks who would know anything were not around the booth when our buddy Ridgetop went by to get some answers. Sorry we don't have anything to share. But like I've said, most of what I have stated in previous posts is most likely the case on why we haven't seen the remasters of them. I worked a LOT with licensing at Bandai when I had my time there and dealt with these very strict rules all the time (especially from Disney related projects), so I'm speaking from personal experience and knowledge. You don't have to like what I'm telling you, but I'm just sharing the facts, and you do with them as you please.
