QuoteThe Necrotecture is inspired by Giger's Tourist?

The plot is radically different, but a lot of the themes are related.

QuoteWhen Char Lacroix - a college bioengineering major with a dangerous compulsion to wander late at night into the dark alleyways and tunnels of her subterranean city - recounts the otherworldly details of her alien abduction, she unveils experiences so disturbing and yet so unimaginably bizarre that the borders between reality and subjectivity are blurred.

I like this surreal-approach. The tiny line between reality and the otherworldly plus bio-punk + psychological horror + creatures.

What's a product of the character's mind and what is not? What the character manufactures through her mind may be unleashed by the real horror? Is she still abducted while the story takes place?

It's like not knowing if you woke up from a dream or nightmare.

Creepy. I like it.

I still haven't seen The Thing for some unknown reasons though. But one day I will.
