Since my first thread still has pictures of my original cosplay build when I was making it myself, I'm going to have that thread locked by Hicks and have this new thread be the future of the build with Christopher making it now. I'll include progress shots of how the build came to be and the finished product when complete. I will also do an unboxing video once I receive it! Any comments are questions are welcome.

So why Ahab you my ask? Why choose an obscure comic book predator to cosplay? This is why.

Is he / are you going to shiny up the head a bit at the end to give it that wet look?

That would probably be ill advised for the latex. Not sure how any kind of  gloss would do on the stuff. My guess it would get sticky, tacky, and crack/peel. I'm sure some clever photo editing could win the day.

I think it's great when fans turn their love to these franchises into something material, something you can see and touch. Great work!

Thank you! I'm not making it. Those skills are beyond me, but I will be the owner/funding source of said project. From comic pages to real life, this predator is brought to life by Christopher Du-Bois! Aka InkFxTion Studios. Check out his Facebook page...hugely impressive work.

Definetly.

Well at least you don't regret to spend your hard-earned money for your fanboy love. I would think twice  ;D

Not for this quality lol. It rivals some of the pros paint work.

There won't be a content update for a bit from Christopher. In the mean while, I've been building Ahab's spear.

The blade on the end is being made from wood by a friend of mine on another forum.

Voodoo Magic

That looks rather thick. I hope that wooden blade isn't too heavy for you. I'd imagine it will make the spear incredibly top heavy.

The spear is very light, but extremely durable. The wood will be thinned out a lot more. It won't be too heavy. I am built strong, thankfully.

Fun fact: the bottom point is a Disney Star Wars lightsaber blade tip. Plastidipped and spray painted silver.

Wait...does that mean Disney Star Wars is rock bottom? 🤔

Buh dun tsss.
