Title: Aliens dvd question
Post by: Nightwalker on May 15, 2008, 01:44:15 PM
ok here is something i would like to know.

i currently have the US R1 aliens 2 disc collectors edition :) sweet.
u can get the same in the UK with different packaging but same extras.

now...in the UK we have the steelbook definative editions of alot of 18 movies.i have the terminator definative.the extras seem to be the same on these definative editions....the terminator extras are the same as the previous se release.

so my questions is this....(UK people probably best to answer)
is the definative steelbook edition of aliens better in pic quality than the 2disc collectors edition?
and
does the definative edition have all the same extras as the 2disc collectors edition? i mean ALL the same extras people.

is it worth getting the UK R2 aliens steelbook definative edition??? or will i lose out on extras?

The Definitive Editions are just re-packaged versions of the 2-disk Special Editions and the Quadrilogy. Same quality, same extras, same DVD. It's just one of Fox's cheap money making schemes.  >:(
