That was Ridley.  Ash isn't packing downstairs, so he tries to shut the yappy woman up with something phallic.

You think some freak made improper use of that doll?

I remembered a trivia question regarding Parker's missing gold bracelet. I think that scene is Ridley's later insert shot. At November 24, 1978 Ridley filmed more for scene 152, for that shot Ridley used Yaphet's double Andrew Scott. The hands seen in the scene are therefore not necessarily Yaphet Kotto's but Andrew Scott's.

Totally different issue, but the Alien did whatever to Lambert VERY quickly. Ripley was headed there at a frenzied pace and Lambert was done and strung up and the Alien long gone. Did it know to hurry, and why would it? And why not take a corpse a la Brett and Dallas?

It was much slower than Parker or Brett. It may have known Ripley was coming because the comm circuit was open.

I don't believe she was raped. There wasn't enough time. I don't believe it left the area because it knew Ripley was coming - why not wait and finish her too?

Only Lambert's suspended legs were visible. It's not possible to tell whether she's hanging from a steel hook, or half-stuffed into an (offscreen) vent opening? If it was some kind of opening, perhaps the Alien was attempting to leave with one victim (later returning for Parker), but quit and left when the body didn't fit?

I don't think it's ever explained what the alien did to her.
Since the scene with the tail was originally part of Brett's death scene (it's his shoes) but was ultimately recut, it remains an open question and is only intended to suggest that the alien treated her very cruelly.
I think Ridley Scott once said that Lambert died of a heart attack (?)
But then what happened to her clothes?

What clearly happened was she was so scared she jumped out of her clothes so hard she went halfway through the ceiling and had a heart attack.

We'll never know for sure how it went down, but it looks nasty.

I like to think it was trying to drag her through a vent in the ceiling (to take her back to it's nest like with Brett n Dallas) but ended up tearing her in half by accident

Isn't that the premise of "Pop up pirate"? I'm sure I had that game years ago

Perhaps the closest to the "authentic" evidence of Lambert's fate is presented in the Sigourney Weaver screen test before the actual shooting of the film on July 3, 1978. In the link's video at 7:50, Dallas tells Ripley what the Alien did to Lambert.

Of course, this is not the final statement of Lambert's fate, it is the content of the early 1978 drafts of the script, although it does give an indication of what was planned for Lambert's death.

If it did eat Lambert, it would have been her brains. Like Parker.

Well in one of the chapters of my Alien fanfiction story some Alien monster push down their tails into some peoples mouth and when the tails dont go further down the monsters drag them up again, killing the victims. Si in that part of my fanfiction they kind of rape victims.

Just thinking how much that would hurt. I mean the Alien momsters tails looks very sharp and i can imagine the damage they would do in a humans throat and the stomach and other parts.

Thank you Fredrik, this was the one message I didn't know I'd never want.  :o
