It's a pretty good surprise, I started it thinking it would be a short and funny read without much depth to it, but it's actually a full NotAlien isekai, absolutely Alien with the serial numbers filed.
Started reading this morning (pretty easy to find online, although the version I got is titled I Became An Evolving Space Monster rather than Evolution: Road to Space Monster) and I cannot stop, I'm at chapter 17 already.
It has the usual flaws of build-based isekai (you end up spending a lot of time watching the character climb up their skill tree) and quick webtoon reads (not a lot of composition, everything is designed for vertical scrolling without much space left for detailed landscape or complex shots) but it is very, very enjoyable. It has been a BLAST!
A thing which surprises me is that this manga, humorous in its first pages, VERY QUICKLY turn into raw horror and body horror. I wasn't expecting that! What a treat, truly!
