The rumor itself stems from Bespin Bulletin and B.O.B the Podcast. In the show's most recent episode, it was asserted that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game is in development. Bespin declined to say where exactly they received the information but they said that they were confident that it was indeed in the works after talking to a few unnamed sources behind the scenes.

Just finished the novelisation of Rise of Skywalker. A bit disappointed it didn't really do much in the way of clearing up a major plot hole of the film: Why Palpatine orders Rey to be killed, when he apparently really wants her brought to him alive.

The Mandalorian may or may not fill some of the gaps to help such a messy flick. However, even with that in mind, there are those who do not want that at all.

Just heard a rumour that unused footage of Han, Luke and Leia together will be utilized to essentially remake the sequel trilogy on Disney+. Also, most of the parts will be recast. Sounds like many are keen to fix the many mistakes of the sequels.
