Amazing film. Great story. Just flew by

Noice. Hoping to see that in the week, beer festival hangover permitting.

I love The Game, although I do think it should've ended
Spoiler
with Douglas actually hitting the pavement and dying

The Prophecy 8.0/10
The film could have been better served by a better edit I think. Certain scenes should have been allowed to breathe. But just Christopher Walken's performance alone makes this such a fun viewing.  Viggo Mortensen is terrific in this too.

I love that movie - the sequels weren't anywhere near as good as the first one - but they were OK as far as I remember.

But yeah - "He doesn't talk to me anymore..."

It's a great film with quality performances - rewatch time!

Yeah, I saw a sequel or two. I don't remember them other than thinking they're not worth remembering. But the first, the original was an instant purchase for me!  :)

Yes! Great line!

The acting was great. And there were a couple of scenes that I just loved.

But the story felt a bit thin to me.

It's crazy. I watched General Zod whack Captain America in The Iceman, and then I saw Batman take an axe to Discount Joker in American Psycho. The guys aren't getting along very well outside of the Super Hero genre.

The Irishman

Very, very good on the whole. I'm gonna need to think about this one some more, but it's a solid watch, and Pacino is a blast as Hoffa.

Old School (2003)
Solid comedy and one of my favorite Will Ferrell movies.

The Other Guys (2010)
Another one of my favorite Will Ferrell movies with and an excellent Mark Wahlberg.
At some point Ferrell says "This isn't Miami Vice." Which makes me think the creators should do a Miami Vice comedy.

The Last Boy Scout (1991)
Probably my favorite Bruce Willis movie. And such a great movie in general.

Deadheads (2011)
Decent little zomcom.

Quote from: HuDaFuK on Nov 16, 2019, 11:27:12 AMI've missed that one thus far, but I really liked London Has Fallen. Butler went full-on Rambo in it, and I thought the single-take firefight down the London street near the end was one of the best action sequences I've seen in recent years. It wasn't a "good" movie by any means, but I was definitely entertained.

Then you'll probably like Angel As Fallen.

Revenge of the Nerds

This was great. And I was totally taken by surprise when John Goodman popped up in it.

Never saw it before? Part 2's fun as well. I love those college/screwball movies
Doesn't it also feature Jefferson Darcy from Married With Children?

Little Monsters
A fun Australian Horror Comedy. Featuring Lupita N'yong'o. So much swearing in front of kids lol

I was disappointed with this one. Thought it was more of a romantic comedy against a zombie background.
Did lol when the entertainer runs and beats those kid zombies

Monty Python's Life of Brian

"There's just no pleasing some people." "That's precisely what Jesus said, sir."

Ford v Ferrari

Damn, this was great. November has been really crushing it for me movie-wise.

Road House
