Awesome trailer!!! It was nice to see some new footage of the game.

!!!1111!Dey didn't get the patch on the wall right? omg totally not buying11!111.. I kid. Environments looking fitting for the game. Hopefully the gameplay will be worthwhile too.

fav part was when the camera was crouched down hiding and the alien loooking around slowly before turning away. I suddenly felt an urge of OH CRAP, OH CRAP! DON'T LOOK DOWN! DON'T LOOK DOWN!!

They really need to add those condom lips to the Alien. Running around with teeth exposed all the time gives me the sense he wants to greet me with happiness not hostility. Other then that the Alien is looking fantastic.

His animations are perfect, they've nailed the sensual and graceful movements.

i want to see the Alien do really alienish, akward things for example when you see him  but he cant see you, some bizarre movement with its victims, or just by itself!

This is SEGA's last game to put out? Thank God. Hopefully a REAL company will get the rights and hand it over to a REAL developer. I am still waiting for a great FPS based on the license.

This video really makes it seem like Creative Assembly gets it. This could very well be the scariest Alien game since AvPClassic (which scared the bejesus out of me, and still does).

The shot of the morgue really did it for me. It gives u a sense a dread of what is to come from the beast. Detail is top notch!

I hope so, but having just looked back at the mess that was Rome Total War II and how much CA had hyped up what a great game it would be (great AI, etc.), I can't help but be cynical. Companies, whether they're making comics, movie, or video games, have gotten so good at using buzzwords (CANON! ATMOSPHERE! THE GAME/MOVIE/COMIC FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!) and blowing smoke up everyone's rear ends, especially when they know that their product is garbage, that I tend to take everything with a grain of salt these days.

They've never used the word Canon because of the ACM disaster.

They know exactly what not to do.

That point is true, but they do have something of a history of over-hyping games and then shipping them out broken, as has happened with almost every Total War game the last 5 years. Also, the stuff in the "Creating the Alien" video about its AI just rang hollow after CA said similar thing about Rome II, only for the AI to ship completely broken.

But did they have people test the Rome series?

That's reason enough for me, we've got proof of people actually playing the game.

We'll just have to wait and see. I'm just personally not buying their hype. I was really unimpressed with the " Creating the Alien" video. I just think we should manage our expectations.

Well, we'll see. I'm not pre-ordering for sure.

This game (combined with a couple others) might be what pushes me over the edge and gets a next-gen console. If I'm going to play this, I want it to look as good as it possibly can.

My advice, just upgrade your PC.

I actually recently did that, but I prefer console gaming because I get to play on my mega-huge TV while sitting on my couch surrounded by my surround-sound system. :)

I buy a good number of PC-only titles, but if something is available on consoles I'll almost invariably get the console version unless the PC version is drastically better in some regard.

That makes sense but I can't afford to do that, I just connect my PC to my TV.

And I've got to advise you considering the specs of these new consoles PC is going to steamrole them.

Ah I see but what I'm saying is that I actually think that the new consoles will severely hinder games like TW3: The Wild Hunt.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. :) I've heard that argument before, and ultimately I'm not sure there's much we can do about it.

The consoles are barely better than last gen, look it up.

Valve's apparently looking into a cheap version of the Steam box which can stream processing power from your main PC. Not sure if that would be possible wirelessly, or if you'd need a long arse ethernet cable.

Yes, and I'm not going to thread a 800-foot cable out of my computer room, down my stairs, and snake it around to my TV.
Or even more ridiculous, drill a hole through the floor of my computer room and through the ceiling of my TV room, just to snake a cable through.

Well people played the Dark souls 2 demos at conventions and said it looked fantastic but when it got released it didnt look that good anymore, going after demos/gameplays/videos and pictures is a bad idea. Ever since the 80s game producers and developers has used many tricks to fool one to buy the games, in the 80s they often showed pictures from the arcade edition and not the actual game, in the 90s paid reviews and rendered pictures, in the 20s and to now hype and false videos etc, its pretty normal for those who have been in the industry a long time :)

I think I'm with alot of people who are weary of the game. especialy after Aliens: CM. I'm gonna wait until I see a review from Angry Joe.

I love that this game isn't JUST some Alien game but a true survival horror game that is completely dedicated to the first films atmosphere filled with dread, terror and true horror. Haven't played a game like that in awhile since Silent Hill lol.

I can't help but agree. for a long time the only alien games we ever got were FPS games. I think this will be good to breathe new life into the alien gaming franchise. this is why I hope the game comes out good, and does great. I can see Potential in the direction this game wants to go. I HOPE this game is good. I WANT to hype for it. but I have to hold restraint and wait and see what the reviews say.

Aside from that I will get this game. it has alot of potential and I like the direction this game is going because it's an alien game. the franchise was MADE for Survivor horror, as Aliens is made for FPS. Perhaps if the game is good enough we can see a Survivor horror game for Predator? just imagine that!

Maybe something in the vein of Far Cry 3 or Metal Gear Solid 3, where you're both being hunted by while simultaneously hunting a Predator.

AvP2 kinda-sorta tried to have parts where it seemed like a Predator was "hunting" you, but it was all scripted stuff.
