Save Data Wipe / Don't install to hard drive

A ew hours ago I played on multiplayer, with no issues, all my save data was present. About 20 minutes ago I went to play it again, and everything, I mean everything from campaign to multiplayer to my settings were gone, which drives me nuts because I finally got the Lurker where I wanted it and my marine was in the late 38's. After some looking around I found several articles about the issue, all of which say it possibly has something to do with the cache, and they reccomend uninstalling the game. Tried that, didn't fix anything.  Apparently, many are facing this issue.

So don't save your game to the hard drive. Not sure why that is, but I've read it in a few places. It's also on the gearbox forums.

Gearbox just really doesn't want people playing their game.
