Playable Xenomorphs?

I've heard the rumors of Xenos being playable, and I've gotten a bit curious. Has it been confirmed? Any gameplay or images showing this?

No gameplay or images, but it has been confirmed multiple times that at PAX, the Gearbox devs were playing as xenos online

I don't believe they will have playable Xenos in the campaign. They've repeatedly said that they want to deliver the experience of of being a Colonial Marine, fighting the Xenomorphs.

How excitingly new. No games have done that before.

Anyway, they could still bring that experience to players with Aliens playable in single player in some capacity. Unless for some reason, people believe that the AvP games' marine campaigns didn't deliver. If they removed the barely-present Predators, you might as well have been playing a VG adaptation of Aliens.

They are playable ofc.... Omg, did you watched the MP vid? It was TDM if you didn't noticed. Marines VS Aliens.
