Alien to Aliens (dome)

I don't know why but the idea of the aliens dome evolving from translucent to the ALIENS version we see is just stuck in my brain. I really hope we get to see this on screen and I love the idea of the skin, instead of shedding, shrinking in and sticking to the skeletal structure underneath as it loses its translucent state and becomes the hardened biomechanic look we see in the sequel.

A lot of unexplored potential and good scenes in a well executed metamorphosis I think.

I used to not really be a fan of the non transparent or classic dome but lately ALIENS has made me really want to see more of THAT exact design. Really cool to think the Aliens are growing into different stages

I like the "jelly bag". I don't know how it could be shown onscreen morphing into a hardened, solid skull.

Probably for the best that it's left to the imagination and occurs offscreen.

It could work like a fresh-keeping process by vacuum sealing vegetables in foil.
Just spread out over several days or so.

Personally, I like the smooth dome best without seeing the skull. But I think it's good to also have the grooved version.
