I just wanted to share how I felt about this era we've stepped into with alien and predator films. Even though I wasn't a big fan of Romulus or PREY but did like some of the things they did, I can't express how pumped I am with this second coming of the franchise. All these new films, possible merchandise, and new fans...it's awesome! I imagine this is what it was like in the 90s when this was popping off.
Anyways just wanted to share my excitement and want to know how all you feel. I just really hope they get these things right but regardless I really like being able to have more films to talk about and look forward too with all of you. Even if it causes splits and debates, it's all part of the fun!!
But man if they can nail this predator film, maybe the alien tv show and sequel, and then a good AVP film...I might explode. But even if they don't I think I've already accepted the OG films as stand alone much like how people view Star Wars and that's okay too. But very pumped for everyone who enjoys the new films and hopefully they get these next ones right. And if they don't well...the debates will continue and be part of the circus show.
And yes I'm going to put all my guards and walls down again like I did with Romulus and probably end up hurt again, but hey it's all part of the process as an A/P fan
