Wanted to gather some opinions on what you guys think/prefer a Predalien to look like.

I do agree with the crowd that Chet from AVP:R was just a bit too much. The fleshy muscles, spine ripping, yellow-green coloration, and the rasta dreadlocks. Hell, even the mandibles were a bit much. On a Predator, they basically are around the lip region. On Chet, the mandibles are glued on. Oddly enough, in Chest burster stage at the end of AVP, it looked perfect, like an actual functioning part of the mouth.

IMO, a Predalien would be:
*Slightly larger than a human-spawned xenomorph.
*Slightly different shaped back part of the head.
*NO DREADLOCKS. NO ROARING. NO YELLOW-GREEN FLESHY BITS.
*Mandibles would be part of the upper mouth region.

I agree with you that it should be almost pure biomechanics and it should NOT have dreadlocks.

I think Chet's mandibles were nice, though. Chet mandibles + a general structural revision and some surprising elements due to the very different DNA would do the trick.

I also think some general inventivity in the design could work, like, we absolutely do not know which parts of the "normal" Big Chap appearance are typical Plagiarus constructions and which parts are extrapolated from the host's DNA.
Even the dorsal tubes may be some weird way in which the mutagen reinterpretates our digestive tract, who knows.

It may be the Mandela Effect, but I'm pretty sure there was a video game where the Predalien was created by bioengineering in a WY lab (AVP Classic maybe?), ie without facehugger impregnating a Pred.

The creature didn't have dreadlocks, was reddish brown (quadrupedal like the AlienĀ³ runer), and the only Predator trait present were the jaws.

Anyway, I prefer a design without dreadlocks, totally biomechanical, with Yautja jaws🫡🦀

Personally, I always liked to think that how a Xenomorph would look like is basically an effed up and exaggerated version of its hosts skeletal structure mixed in with bio-mechanical parts.  :D

Way larger than a human born Alien
Tower over a Predator just like a human born Alien towers over a human
No dredlocks
Proper mouth anatomy
Not be fleshy, be biomechanical

Basically, this design I was making some months ago, haven't had the time to finish it yet
