Didn't notice this in Predator 2

I rented Predator 2 recently and couldn't help but notice King Willie and Lambert tried to fight like Billy and died the same way. In fact, when I saw Jerry pick up the knife, it almost looks like the one Billy used.

Anyone else see that?

From viewing this forum recently one would think Predator 2 was devoid of homages and was utterly different.

It`s not about* lack of homages. It`s about the way they are being presented. In P2 those were served with witt, that`s why they don`t hurt as much as Brody dowsed in mud saying "comon kill me!..."

Another poin it that P2 had allot of their own classic quotes ("Shitt Happens"), of which Ps was lacking .

Plus Billy, Lambert, King Willie are human. Against a predator they don't have a chance. Their little knives where usless.
