Why is it not coming out to the 3DS? O:
The game's been in development since long before the 3DS was announced.

Hopefully soon! The approval process is long.

What does the approval process consist of?  I'm curious about it.   :)

Anything related to the franchise usually needs to go through all the parties involved before getting published. That means being approved by the studio, publisher and ultimately the license owner.

That seems like a pretty long approval process.  I think if this fact was made clearer to some of the forum members there would be less complaining about the lack of info coming out for A:CM.  Thanks for the info, ikarop.

Agreed. Sort of makes me wonder if there is someway they could streamline it a bit more. That Gamespot debacle was kind of a big mess up for the fans. Not sure who dropped the ball or made the mistake, but while it isn't a big deal it does give the impression that lines of communication are tangled somewhere, which isn't good.

Suckas! We get it first :D

Maybe.  This is the Alien franchise we are talking about here.  Release dates are more volatile in this case and still subject to change at the last minute.   ;)

In the meantime, when will we get our Q&A with WayForward???

Gearbox has just revealed during their panel at PAX Prime that the game Aliens: Infestation, which they created in collaboration with Wayforward Technologies, will be coming out for the Nintendo DS on October 11, 2011 in the US and on September 30, 2011 in Europe.

Stay tuned for our upcoming Q&A with Wayforward and Sega about the game!
