Predator 2 would still have deserved an extended cut like Alien 1-4, if only because of the cuts for the R-rating.
As a deleted scenes enthusiast in movies, I've tried to find them, we've got some clues in interviews, ancient magazines, and lobby cards sometimes.I remember chatting with Mark Goldblatt, but he doesn't recall much, he remembered that the subway massacre was an editing hell thought. If P2 had been releeased a little bit earlier it would've dodged that new RNC17 rating, and we would have gotten the full version. Some people in the US got to see the unedited workprint in certain states, but they would need to have a perfect memory to tell us what was different.People's memory is also often wrong, like all these guys who are persuaded that there was an action scene between the pred and the Scorpios in the armory, wich was never filmed and is nowhere to be found in the scripts. As for the workprint, I've heard that there is one being hoarded, very scarce info for the last fifteen years, some people said it has unfinished fx,timecoded,no extra scene and a Predator 1987 temp score, but i haven't seen it with my own eyes so take it with a grain of salt.
But i don't see an extended cut happening, nor a making of book.
