No, but certain events were changed from the original film (Hicks not being in the cryotube, for one).

At least one of these is from the set of Badlands (#8 in reel).

The first pic looks like it's shot in a literal badlands too.

I did wonder if the title would be a bit of a play on words - but that was before any info leaked and I thought it'd be the direct sequel to Prey.

Preds tearing it up in a badlands style terrain sounds amazing whatever timezone/planet it's set in, though!
