Still Collating...

As the release date for Alien: Rogue Incursion gets ever closer, only 9 days away now for Steam VR and PSVR, Exophase has revealed 35 trophies for the game, for the PS5 network. It doesn’t seem like most of them contain any spoilers, but just in case, readers be aware. They are as follows:

  1. Defiant Till the End – Unlock all other Part I Trophies.
  2. One Small Step... – Reach Purdan.
  3. That Makes You an Employee – Key your Biometrics to the PDT Keycard.
  4. Game Over, Man – Lose a fight in the Mess Hall.
  5. For Close Encounters – Recover the Riot Shotgun.
  6. Android On Board – Transfer Davis into the Data Pad.
  7. Personal Friend of Yours – Recover your Pulse Rifle.
  8. Bodies Across the Void – Find a way across the skybridge.
  9. Crew Not Expendable – Attempt to destroy the MD-8.
  10. Good with the Bad – Clear the infestation in the Medical Wing.
  11. Express Elevator to Hell – Finish Part I.
  12. We Own This – Finish Part I on Insane Difficulty.

  19. Initiate Docking Procedure – Dock the Datapad by throwing it into the air and shooting it onto a Terminal.
  20. Payload Exposed – Use the Pulse Rifle to trigger a controlled explosion.
  21. A Bit Twitchy – In Part I, throw a gun in the air and catch it seconds before killing an enemy.
  22. Just For a Percentage – Find every piece of Intel.
  23. Unworthy of Creation – Shoot Davis.
  24. The Claustrophobic Astronaut – Get attacked by the same facehugger after prying it off.
  25. Model Employee – Read every email in Part I.
  26. Worth Millions – Hold a dead facehugger for 2 minutes.
  27. Sleep When You Die – Kill an enemy with your last bullet.
  28. Eat This! – Kill a Xenomorph as it attempts to execute you.
  29. Every Formation a Parade – Kill 3 separate enemies with the Pulse Rifle, Riot Shotgun, and the Revolver within 5 seconds.
  30. Perfectly Executed – In Part I, damage an enemy with one gun and kill it with another.
  31. Open The Door! – Trap Xenomorphs in a Panic Room and kill them 5 times.
  32. Becoming Hysterical – Attack a Xenomorph with the Hand Torch.
  33. Adios, Muchachos – Kill 2 Xenomorphs at once by detonating an exploding Barrel or Pipe.
  34. Prometheus Strain – Heal yourself by injecting an X-stim into your head.
  35. An Interesting Affectation – Kill a Xenomorph while wearing a hat.

One might believe that the multiple references to a ‘Part I’ could just be a title of a game chapter, but knowing that there isn’t a single mention of a ‘Part II’ in the trophies, could that mean that we can expect episodic content? Is a ‘Part II’ in the plans, as a free update or paid DLC? Only time will tell, but we’ll be sure to report on it as soon as new information drops!

"Unworthy of Creation" - nice Covenant reference!

Preydator

"Worth Millions – Hold a dead facehugger for 2 minutes" this is the kind of stuff VR was made for.

All the more reason I want to play this. Ive never played VR but do wonder how my motion sickness or 'simulator sickness' would be. Isolation (although I loved it, I had to play with a fan in front of my face) killed me. Dizzy all the time.

I love the Aliens references here: Game Over, Man; For Close Encounters; Android On Board, etc. I've seen the film so many times it's like hearing a sample of the characters when I read the quotations ... Hudson, Hicks, Ripley ... super stuff. I do kind of wish though that they would just to a VR Aliens game ... just as it was back in the day with all the actors ... no more ... no less. I still remember having the paper map you got in the Aliens Electric Dreams game on my wall as a kid. I loved the idea of exploring the complex that I had seen in the film and interacting with the characters. Never would I have thought this technology would have been available later in life. Really looking forward to this game.

I just got a PSVR2 a little over a week ago and had no idea that motion sickness was a side effect of VR but after acclimating to it I only feel slightly nauseous after 2 hour sessions whereas when I first played I was feeling extremely nauseous within 15 minutes of playing so you do eventually build your VR legs so to speak with repeated exposure.

Ok thanks for that, maybe Ill have to pick it up and work through it then - If the game is worth it that is.

Mister T

Mr. T thinks that "VR" is a tool to enslave the masses!

Don't be a tool!  It's not good for the kids!

Took me a hot minute to figure that one out. Use rhe pulse rifle to blow up one of your grenades. Seems so obvious once you know it
