Shaman Predator Hunting style? (Read 347 times)

Hello friends! I'm working on a info page for Shaman for a poster, so I'm gathering as much info as I can. Based on the little we know of Shaman Predator, I'm curious what kind of hunting style would he have in your opinion? An aggressive hunting style mainly hand to hand like Feral or a more reserved hunting style like jungle hunter? I would love to read everyone's thoughts.

Name: Shaman Predator
Height: 7' 6"
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Gold
Gender: Male
Species: Yaujta

Story: One of the oldest living Yautja, Shaman is no stranger to Earth. In mid-19th century North America, he hunted the strongest warriors of indigenous human tribes with only primitive handmade weapons. The mysterious skull-faced apparition they saw became known in some Native American folklore as "wechuge," or "man-eating demon" because he would devour his prey to absorb their spirit and strength, and fashion their bones into new weapons for the next kill. Shaman began as an apprentice of the ancient Yautja mystical beliefs, and his dark presence and obsession with the macabre was disturbing even to other Yautja. But in his later years, he found his place as a spiritual leader with the Lost Tribe, by which time he'd developed seemingly clairvoyant abilities helping to guide and advise the younger hunters. Later he is seen in Los Angeles observing the hunt of City Hunter or perhaps even hunting himself elsewhere during the events of 1997.

Absolutely lol, when I'm done the copy and pasted height and hair color etc will be removed for the poster. Mostly just a larger photo and story information.

You'd be fine to keep it all. It paints a pretty complete picture after all, if that's what your going for.  I'd say more reserved, possibly even so reserved that he refrains from fighting unless absolutely necessary.  If he's that old, he's probably acquired a lot of wisdom.  I'm not sure what Predator wisdom looks like though, so there you go.

That's a good point and makes sense. The main reason I brought it up here on this post is besides a throwing disc, he doesn't regularly use ranged weapons. So it had me questioning how reserved he would be, as eventually he would be in hand to hand combat.

Interesting profile indeed.
The part about Shaman disturbing other Predators with his obsessions makes you kinda wonder... lol

Based on those details, Shaman seems like a big fan of the stalking process and may be more on the selective side. Seems like he really likes to get to know his victims if the intent is to absorb their "spirit and strength" while devouring them...

I'd say the deaths of his victims could be more swift but still brutal- with the use of primitive weapons. Though the real gruesomeness comes from what he does with their bodies afterwards.

😄. You have a great point! Honestly your idea how he would hunt makes more sense based on the information given. I think I'll go with this. Thank you for your opinion on this!

I totally read over this part, which actually is a fairly important element to his character!  I think PredBabe's on the money with the stalking and taking a personal interest in his victims.  Creepy, but cool.  Maybe he's more prudent than wise?
