Not sure if this was mentioned previously but I just watched land of bad on Netflix and I kept thinking wow this looks amazing and the pacing, the events that take place, and the camera shots all seemed super familiar...cough cough. But seriously it got to a point where I was waiting to see the red targeting laser appear out of nowhere or a cut to heat vision stalking the team.
Sure enough I came across this article and the director drew inspiration from the original Predator.
Thought this movie was awesome though. I would love to see have seen this same exact idea with a Predator implemented into the story!
