My father died at 63. RIP 1959 - 2022  :'(

Omg I am so sorry for your loss. I'll be thinking of you and your family. I understand now something of what you are going through and I am so so sorry.

My dad is old and out of shape in his early sixties so I wonder how much longer he will be around.  I just hope he gets to retire and enjoy some of life before it happens.  He's worked since his late teenage years with no break, and working yourself into the grave isn't something I'd want to do.

What's worse is that I think he's made peace already about it happening before he gets a chance to retire.

Anyways, sorry for your loss Jonesy.  I don't want to even think about what that is like.

My dad's got a similar vibe but is about to turn 70 and has already had a few strokes. The shit ain't easy.

I was devastated, but I'm glad he is resting in peace now.

Thanks everyone...

I stayed away while I focused on beeing there and seeing her through til the end . It was so difficult and she suffered a lot. I miss her so much, I would have done anything for her. We were very close and if not for my family I don't think I would be able to go on.

After she passed this week I came back here quickly in hopes of keeping my mind busy.

I'm unhappy because of the imminent nuclear war.

Respectfully you should seek professional help if you are able to do so.

Yea.

I myself am someone immersed in my love for military history and even I'm not even anywhere close to being as alarmist as you, maybe if I were a lot younger and dumber but alas I'm just getting older.

I can actually even vouch for professional help as it helped me back in the day, autism consulting to be more specific.
