Quote from: IGNIn space, no one can enforce your dress code, so expect plenty of customization. "You'll be able to wear your cowboy hat, or your classic colonial marine helmet, or awesome synth sunglasses," Highison tells us.

"Synth sunglasses" you say? 8)

;D

I always loved that the 2001 Aliens versus Predator 2 Combat synths looked to be modeled after that Kenner Bishop figure, mini gattling gun and all! Well played Monolith, well played.

If it happens, the adult Deacon should be great, although I know not everyone thinks so. But what could go wrong? living mountains?

But probably, we will see the head room with the urns.  8)

"One of the major events in our backstory is the passing of the Colonial Protection Act in 2187. That is a government reaction to what the companies were doing in the outer rim in the frontier, basically saying, '[Corporations] have been running roughshod over everything out there, causing a lot of people misery, we're going to take a more active hand in this."

But that's literally what 'Aliens' already depicted was occurring. It's the US government, not private companies, who goes out investigating when colonies go dark. Weyland-Yutani didn't even wholly own Hadley's hope. It was co-financed.

But the Company effectively ran the place.  Had Olivia Shipp's adventures continued this aspect would've had more detail.  The issue is with the USCM and Weyland-Yutani being too cosy and events transpiring to force the USCM to revert to it's more independent stance.

if they make a structure similar to the ones in the movies, I wonder how it will be.

Or beyond Alien... Which are the best maps for this type of shooter?

Do you have screenshots of them? I don't quite remember what they looked like.

I wanna see an actual facehugger latch on a Engineer, chestburster burst out of there, and grow into adult form and fight that thing.

The Ultramorph from Promy, when prequellitis was more chronic.

Man, it's surprisingly hard to find a good shot of these guys, this is the first one I could find from the archives, clearly this pair is all shagged out and they've misplaced their firearms. Sans sweet shades too.

\/ This is Kenner's super accurate Bishop fig. Does anyone know if NECA ever put their spin on this design?

I love how everyone still thinks Walter was playing a flute, when it's not a damn flute.  It's like saying a violin is a guitar. Sorry, it's been bugging me for freakin' years.

Back on topic, I'd love to see some prequel references in the game, as long as there are no flutes. Flutes have NEVER been in any Alien movies.

#itsnotaflute #stopsayingflute

But Engineer Pennywhistle has sooo many syllables.

I like a people who say: "it is not X". But they never speaking what it really is. I call it pseudo-knowledge.

Protomorph

I'm really happy they are using the Prometheus/Covenant stuff. Adds a lot more variation and mystery to the franchise for me. Gunning down some Neomorphs would be epic. There is one design of a new Xenomorph that looks strikingly similar to the Neomorph, Spitter I think its called. I wonder if the story arc would be something along the lines of human scientists genetic engineering of a Neomorph giving that result.

Bootz

Ugh. As far as I'm concerned, the only canon entries in the franchise are Alien and Aliens.

Not yet, but they've done most of the rest (Ripley, Apone, Drake, and I think Vasquez?)

Kimarhi

I had all of those and I wonder how much they'd be worth now if I didnt throw them in a storage barn that sprung a leak and ruined em.
