I'm surprised at how much I've been really enjoying AvA. I do think the depiction of the Aliens flops between great and okay though. It's looking a bit okay in that preview. Just the details are very non-existent.

Having seen a review for the issue, I am really curious as to what will occur in the next one. If issue 4 is suppose to be the last one, I can't see how they are going to wrap up all of the plot threads in a satisfying way. It is pretty obvious that the Sinister clones and the Davids will more than likely work together. Also, the Engineers will more than likely forge an uneasy alliance with the Marvel heroes.

However, if this ends in a cliffhanger, that is where things can get really interesting. It could become an epic cosmic horror saga with the next batch of issues assuming that is what Hickman and Marvel has planned.
It would be particularly interesting if Apocalypse gets to interact with the Engineers.

I completely agree. Those hybrids will make one heck of a threat. An Alien channeling the Phoenix force is one crazy idea.

I really do appreciate how they install the world ending reputation that the xenos were first established for instead of just the usual canon fodder in other recent stories. Like I do feel the dread and despair of everyone that goes off here and the fate of the Earth. I hope they establish this same energy in future media.
