I wonder what they've added into the derelict sequences?

Ditto.

Sad to hear that the Xeno animations were still wonky. Funny how that was one of the things Rebellion really got right in AvP 2010. Although I wonder if this was from the recent London preview even or the NYCC event.

"other crap" referring to the PREDATOR franchise.  PSHHH, they failed to involve Terminators because we all know that there were Terminators, Batman, Superman AND the Green Latern involved with the Aliens canon. So WTF GB!? We aint gonna see the goddamn Batman either? Thank god for MODS, cuz i want my Batman sckin.

They DID involve Terminators, Batman, Superman and Green Lantern (and Witchblade and Darkness and Judge Dredd) when they said "other crap".

They have changed the game to fit Prometheus? I remember the main reason I looked forward to this game a couple of years ago was because of it's simplicity. In my eyes I didn't see how they could screw it up. Co-op survivor game, with Aliens. That would kick ass.

But all this crap they keep changing, it's starting to sound like a real mess. Silly moving Aliens, (which by the sounds of things still hasn't been fixed) human enemies turning it into a generic shooter, terrible new alien breeds that have been ripped off from other games. Questionable plot setting it in a place that should be destroyed, setting it after Alien 3, obvious after thought multiplayer that looks very underwhelming with no first person xeno too, and now they are going to incorporate another major disappointment; Prometheus.

It's getting harder and harder to anticipate this game, they need to release a really badass trailer or something.

The alien jumping in the air has weird feet! Do the feet actually look like that? Anyway I cannot wait for this game! I really hope that the new Xbox is backward compatible with Xbox 360 games so I can still play this when the new console comes out!

We definitely need another delay, I'd want it to be delayed for at least another year in order to just tune this f**ker up, because they've had so many months since the last delay and it looks like they've done nothing. They should stop with showing this game in so many conventions and whatnot, and just work on the damn game.

The aliens tail is all distorted in that picture. And why with the god dam double jointed legs and massive butcher blade tail and and meaty hands? So they can appear to look menacing and cooler? What happened to the hellish intelligent beast that resembled a twisted up human body?

It's a reference to wanting more Colonial Marine action but never getting any from Alien3 so it's been 20 years in the making, figuratively speaking.

Are they ignoring Alien Resurrection? Because it should be more like 15 years in the making.

Course. To be fair, it hardly scratched Pitchford's itch (Get that checked out!) the way he likes it.  No direct ALIENS references or anything.

Although the dreams of Newt were interesting concepts (I recall an unfilmed scene where Ripley 8 dreams of a little girl being engulfed by a swarm of black insects...now that I think of it, isn't that how the sacrificial engineer went out in Spaight's script?)

They did a really poor job of chopping up the picture of the warrior alien on the second page. Was that done on purpose? You can see by the right arm that it's multiple images overlayed, as well as around the shoulder/chest area and the tail segment that reaches beyond the image border as if a child made this with scissors and a glue stick.

It's so bad I wonder if it was intentional, but then why?

Oh God you're right. And I wonder what that attachment is in place of Bella's grenade launcher on her Pulse Rifle...unless that is a 'shop too.

I guess they butchered it so it would overlap the image onto the white border for the magazine.

Besides the changes to the lower half of the body for gameplay purposes, the warrior alien in A:CM is the best looking alien I have seen in any game yet. Really looking forward to the classic aliens in this game.

That was exactly how I reacted. Can't withstand much fire? What a bunch of BS.

Every time GBX shows off a new build, many of the problems with previous versions still exist. Whether it's gameplay, animations, graphics, or sound. And with GBX constantly emphasizing authenticity, then seeing how much they're actually screwing up canon-wise... I just don't know. Sometimes I wonder if they've even seen the films.

Thing is even humans wouldn't mutate, they'd just be really, really f**ked up with hanging flesh, hair falling off, nails falling off. All that gooey nasty shit. If anything the suicide Alien is the first one we've seen that actually looks like it's been burned up/effected by radiation, and that would be cool for me...if it's attack wasn't killing itself. :-\

I should've been more specific. What I'm saying is that it's not born from the host like that, but it's an alien that was originally exposed to the nuclear fallout. In other words it's been effected by the radiation for so long to the point where it's literally falling apart.

Hell, why not Radio-Active Chestbursters that you can shake and use as glow sticks.

Or how about Aliens with inflatable sacs on their heads that fill with hot air and allow them to float away.

Or how about an Alien with a shootable tail blade, that regrows within a minute.

Or how about an Alien with a bunch of blades on top of it's head.
