Pascal Blanché is a highly talented artist who was the Art Director of the Avatar game before the film was released. I had an Avatar fan site that grew in popularity, and Pascal was one of the concept artists who reached out to me. A number of the film's concept artists contacted me, which was a great surprise for an amateur hobby site. But it was getting top listing on Google for awhile before the film's release.
Pascal gave me permission to display a gallery of his work which is still on my site today. Along with other notable concept artists, Wayne Barlowe, Ryan Church, Dylan Cole, Neville Page, and Jordu Schell. In fact Jordu Schell requested a phone interview which I still have displayed on my site. He was the lead character designer. He has also designed maquettes of the xenomorph. They all gave me permission to showcase galleries of their work, which I still have displayed.
Here's a few pieces Pascal sent me to display for his gallery. I don't know if you would call these "Giger's Alien inspired," but there's some similarities. I see also a bit of Frazetta in his style.....

I am, although I was on the art team for that show, not the writing team.
Most of my stories end up as pen and paper RPG adventures since I don't have the patience to refine my writing into anything serviceable, and most of the dialogue is up to the players rather than me, in that situation.

I like that you're not afraid to mix symbols, recognizable creature components and elements of humanity into an original form. With a little patience you may be able to develop your skills into something spectacular.
I also like the hat, I feel like I've seen it somewhere else, but that may simply be that it looks a lot like The Tower of Babel.

This is a representation of someone experiencing sleep paralysis. The house has those monstrous shapes because nightmares have taken over that home. The Space Jockey-like creature is the sleeper and an "astral" projection, so to speak, of the inhabitant of the house. He has this female-looking creature resting on his body as a reference to one of the most common symptoms of sleep paralysis: the feeling that something is resting on your chest or bed. But it is also my humble tribute to this painting: The Nightmare by Henry Fuseli.

It's so difficult for me to put art on paper that is not rigid in conforming to real life proportions and appearance. I can pencil a decently realistic face a dozen times better than I can draw even a Pokemon style face lol. It's infuriating. Not.to say that I'm particularly great, but I'm adequate. I can see it in my mind, but my hand can't get it on paper in a way that is remotely satisfying.
Razeak, don't get discouraged. If you have a vision and you enjoy it, keep practising.

Imagine two different artists, the one with a lot of talent who does not put in any practice time, and the one who has little talent but draws all the time. Which one comes out on top? Almost always the latter.
Practice, inevitably creates personal satisfaction and superb art.
I can't turn the realism switch off is the best way to describe it.
Realism is a flexible concept, ahaha.
