Agreed, I actually don't understand why there hasn't been a republished version yet. It's clearly in demand.

I spent close to $50 on my copy a couple years ago and it actually came from a non-profit bookstore so...while it was pricey at the time, I felt better that it at least went towards a good cause. But geez, hundreds of dollars for one copy? My only hope is that the prices will ebb and flow - or they'll finally decide to republish it. Can't see why they wouldn't if reader interest is there?

Doesn't need one, but I'd be more than happy for VanderMeer to do another A/P licensed book.

Yeah, this was a one and done.  I spoke with VanderMeer in 2019 and he told me that he loved writing the novel and that he learned so much writing it.  I was going to do an interview, but didn't realize that AvPG already had interviewed him so I never followed up.
