Very good, but i just hope we don't slip in AVP:R territory in terms of gore, over the top and sometimes goofy scenes, or just plain generic. Give me something worth remembering, like the first two movie's gore ! Gory, but not totally unbelievable and bland.

This comes as a shock?  I remember Shane saying pg 13 is for pussies. I really hope Paul Anderson read that

R should be the new pg-13. Or just get rid of pg-13 altogether.  A movie should either be child-friendly (like the incredibles) or not (everything else). These little undamaged 13-17 year old minds are watching horror films, playing doom, and F' ing each other out over xbox live. They can handle alittle cussing and violence in a movie. It's time Hollywood got with the program. G and R ratings, that's all we need people.

Shane, you're really pushing it! What the heck has happened to you?!

As a European, I don't care for the reasons why the film has been rated R in the US (that was to be expected).

How/why is he pushing it?

I'm also European. However, it's interesting because it offers an expectation of what rating to expect in our respective reasons.

R rating.  Nice!
Will it limit its box office or improve it?
