have xenomorph genders ever been  talked about in the comics? I assume they are all asexual since they dont mate. Is the face hugger their equivalent of a sperm?

Dunno about the comics, but two Xenomorphs in the recent novel Alien: Uncivil War are identified as male and female.

Haven't read any comics, so beats me. The original intent in Alien is for them to possess no defined sex, though. (Whether this means "hermaphroditic" or actually "sexless" is up to interpretation, I imagine.) This of course did not stop Big Chap / Kane's Son from being gendered male by human onlookers both within and without universe... so mostly I am just suggesting that, on the same basis, we might go "female" for Scorched, just to be consistent.

(Still waiting for them to get a female performer inside just one of the damn suits, though...)
