Yeah the feet are unimportant.....and if designed freakily like the hands they would've been impractical and hard for the actor to walk in.

You see the feet when they use the CGI Alien for the first time in A:R, walking away from Distephano.  They look like hooves...

Yeah but those are CG feet which are different to the ones on the suit.  You see feet a couple of times throughout the film, but they're always CG.

About feet being different:

I always notice that aliens never look the same when from different sources. Each movie has a different look (ie head, hands, tail, whatever) especailly hands, though.

Whenever they appear in difernt comics/games/books the artist always tweaks them to their own design. Its vvery weird, but very cool! i like seeing different minor variations
