Yes still a fairly nonentity in the stories.

Also the disintegrating thing is what I don't understand about the "new" Boba. This version looks like he'd cry if he accidentally vaporized a target.

sarlacc changes a person. he figurality went through a rebirth . listen to the sound we get when the bacta machine plays before he goes into flashback land. it sounds like a baby's heartbeat  https://twitter.com/Wtforceshow/status/1480053698541801472

That Wookiee reminds me of Hanharr.

That wookiee is a very specific character from the comics, and if he's around there's a very good chance another character is not far behind him.

Spoiler

I rarely read Star Wars comics. But a quick search was enough. Black Krrsantan from a Vader's comic? interesting.

yep he began in a Vader comic then became aphra's wookiee partner  but currently we don't know where he is in the comic side of things since they timeskiped to post empire pre return of the jedi

Not quite sure if this poor guy would agree with that assessment.... ;D

I can understand if some would have preferred if Boba had kept the helmet on more often, and been portrayed as an absolutely unrelenting badass throughout the entire show in a sort of 'Judge Dredd'-like way.  In fact, I was sorta hoping for that kind of thing myself initially, especially as there's been so long to imagine how a 'bounty hunter' show might look like.

But due to the disappointment of the 'Sequel Trilogy' killing off our main trio of heroes from the original movies by the time they were finished, I ended up setting myself a very low bar for how any of the TV shows were going to turn out.

But I've been pleasantly entertained by most of 'The Mandalorian' and 'The Book Of Boba Fett' so far....as there's been some fun moments amongst all the 'fan service-y' stuff, and I'm content with the way things are panning out with them so far, regardless of any eye-rolling moments.

Althoough the first episode of 'TBOBF' was a bit clunky in places, and Robert Rodriguez gave us a a cheap-looking and lacklustre scene of Boba's 'Sarlacc escape' in my view....I thought the 2nd episode by Steph Green was pretty great overall, especially since we got such an interesting take on the Tusken tribe's culture.  In fact it's made me appreciate the way Boba was portrayed in 'The Mandalorian' much more now.

So yeah, while I hope we can get another great movie in the franchise one day, I'm definitely looking forward to what the other TV shows will bring in the meantime.

Yeah, I could do without the color-coded cyborg 50s biker gang.  I hope the rancor eats them all whenever Machete betrays Fett.

I can see people hating this episode, but I quite enjoyed it. It made me laugh a few times

That gang of cyborg hipsters felt out of place, but it was fun nonetheless. The Wookiee was scary. And finally a rancor! 8)

Fully enjoying the show, but yeah, the colour-coded bike gang made me think of Power Rangers. And then my real-world brain starts wondering how they can afford all that shit when they're a bunch of unemployed twenty year-olds...

Something seems off about the Robert Rodriguez episodes.  Not sure what it is.
