I want an Alien / Predator / AVP video game similar to Fornite, with the respective game modes: a cooperative shooter where players must fight Xenomorphs and defend artifacts with fortifications they can build; a free-to-play battle royale game where up to 100 players (using Colonial Marines, Aliens or Predators) fight to be the last person standing; and the scenario editor where players are given complete freedom to create worlds and battle arenas.
Also, I want the Alien equivalent of Star Was Battlefront: An Alien shooter where one is able to play in different time periods of the Alien / Predator / AVP universes.
That said...
What kind of Alien-Predator video game do you want in the future?
I would literally take anything, as long as it has a single player campaign.
I'd even take a sequel to A:CM.
Don't judge me. I have needs.

But on a serious note, it may work as long as Randy is far... far away
Another horror game, a la Alien: Isolation. I don't specifically need a sequel following Amanda's character, but another horror game that puts that much effort into capturing the Alien universe's tone and style? Yes please.
A singleplayer Predator game with some RPG elements.
I'd take a remake of Predator: Concrete Jungle or something like AvP: Extinction.

My biggest desires have been for another AvP2 level game with enduring multiplayer. I'm hoping that Cold Iron's persistent shooter will fill this niche. My second one is for a larger scale Predator game, that's open universe where you can travel to other planets to hunt other ETs, as well as an Earth based story.
An AVP game in the style of Destroy all Humans.
Just for fun.
The kind of game where I can play as Drake.
And modding capabilities.
And either Lance Henriksen or William Hope voicing a character.
Besides sequels to Capcom's AvP, Jaguar's AvP, Alien Trilogy and Predator: CJ, I would like to get an Aliens game which is made in a style of classic Resident Evil games (RE1-3) i.e. with a tank control, fixed camera angles, atmospheric music, pre-rendered backgrounds, 3D stuff (characters, items and enemies), iconic elements taken from Aliens 1986 and rebooted plot (alternative universe).
Also an AvP 2D pixel art top down twin stick shooter.

Am I mis-remembering or didn't Colonial Marines have a Drake skin?

They did.
I'm not sure about the state of CM's multiplayer at the moment, so it'd be nice to have the movie skins in a newer game.
Just make AvP2 again with a big budget and modern tech.

So, have you forgiven Randy yet ?
Hunt Begins converted to a video game would be neat.
Mostly I want to see an Alien Isolation sequel, or if they go with Aliens, an Isolation style survival horror with limited ammo.
An open world style Predator Concrete Jungle
A new AvP RTS game
AvP Reboot
Ya know I'll take anything new at this point as long is decent but If we had to vote, I'll ask for a AvP RTS game for PC.
I want a 4th AvP by Rebellion.
And to coincide with its release, all 3 previous Rebellion AvP's Ported to console.
A bit like the DOOM series just got a while back in prep for Eternal's release. DOOM 1,2 and 3 got released on modern platforms.
AvP2 is too much of a rights mess to ever see another release.
So remake it.
Damn, I wish Alien games were more popular so we can have an AVP 2 with this graphic level of gameplay and cinematics :o :o
A decent Aliens FPS that succeeds in all the ways A:CM failed.
Its freakin' time already.
It's so frustrating the way the niche such as Monolith's AVP's often the best.
So here's a interesting question. Say in the near future a new Alien/Predator/AvP game was about to be in the works, which studio development team would you like to handle the project and why? What kind of game would you like the studio to develop. Which team would be able to develop a successful game?
I would want an AVP game where you playing as Predator have to use Alien's blood as energy source.
I'd rather have a standalone Predator game than AvP.
Didn't one just come out?

Yea and while I think its an alright game, I'd like more Predator games not set in the AvP universe. Standalone predator games seem like a rare occurrence.
A reimagining of AVP2 or something very similar with a big budget.

I'm really looking forward to Hunting Grounds release, but I've got to say I'm still pining for that open-world/universe Predator game.

I would love that. Hop around the universe mass effect style sport hunting the most dangerous species. You could do so much with a game like that.
the idea of an open universe Predator game has got my imagination going. imagining it with some kind of No Man's Sky engine where the worlds and their creatures are procedurally generated. the abilities of the creatures you hunt and the benefits you get from them would also be randomly generated too of course
another idea I had would be more of a Predator 2 type deal, set in a city so very much in the vein of the Batman Arkham games. you are the predator, mainly moving across across the rooftops (similar Predkour to Hunting Grounds I guess, or Assassin's Creed style climbing) occassionaly going down to street level to hunt.
it could have a gadget and skill tree like Batman too. the more successful hunts you get, you can develop new weapons.
what I really want though? just to be Mr Obvious. it's an Alien Isolation sequel. not neccessarily a direct sequel, not even neccesarily a continuation of the Amanda Ripley story. just another Alien game based more on survival and with the obvious love and care that went into it. incredible game that just felt so right. I rarely replay story based games and I've done that 3 times.
Isolation style following a group of Marines with all the tech with multiple worlds and stations to fight on. From facing UPP commandos to fighting in hives. Pick your missions both mainline story and other missions. You'd get around like in Mass Effect for ship navigation. On ground you get an APC. Each marine is able to die permanently. Friendly Fire on so git good. Each out of say 24 total are their own person and can be kitted and skilled into technical skills. Maps should be pretty big and based on procedural gen for tilemaps for stations and land for planet in whatever size fits the mission type.
Basically I want what will never happen unless Disney gave CDPR tons of money and NO deadline. I'd wait 10 years or more if they got to make it.
A point and click retron adventure like Blade Runner from Westwood Studios with Van Leuwen being rattled by the loss of Hadley's hope and the stuff.that happened on Fury. He's investigating what happened and gets involved in some big corporate conspiracy and ultimately has a run in with the alien towards the end. I was inspired by something I read.
I envision a Predator game acting similarly to Resident Evil or really the remakes.
My pitch is an open-world title set in the first person where the player chooses one of three campaigns. A gang member or average citizen caught up in a gang war, a police officer, and either an OWLF or Stargazer agent depending on when the game is set. The campaigns in effect act as difficulty modes because of how the Predator chooses targets. The Predator would ignore your average citizen but recognizing the threat of the OWLF would be using every tool available to bring you down. This also comes with the drawback of the player character's "profession". Your average citizen would have a harder time fighting the Predator but would have an easier time escaping it as it will largely ignore the player provided they didn't pick up a weapon. The agent would be armed to the teeth and have to "take out" practically everyone or sneak around the enemies in order to get the Predator but the Predator will absolutely make a B-line for the player. The officer is a balance where the player is armed and can fight the Predator but can be ignored provided the player is able to "sneak" around it.
I imagine a series of checks would work for the Predator to choose the player as the target.
Narrative: Is the Predator in the same place as the player?
Weapon: Does the player have a weapon and if so what kind?
Body Count: Does the player have a body count because while armed the Predator needs to weigh the player's worth.
Profession: If the player is a citizen it will automatically ignore, if the player is an officer it will consider its options, if the player is an agent the Predator will outright be hostile.
The main ideas here is have three possible endings for the three character.
1. Kill the Predator which means killing it before the self-destruct
2. Narrative (a "canonical" scenario)
3. Escaping the town while the Predator is busy
Then thinking ahead here is that for how smoothly a run goes and depending on whether the player got the "true ending" to that story they earn unlockables to make a new run smoother. Completing all three stories with the "true ending" then enables the player to play as the Predator and see what the Predator was doing in-between the stories.

"Style" as in the looks and atmosphere. Not Isolation Gameplay. Big difference...
I wanna rampage around as an alien once again in some sorta 1st/3rd person game. Dab a little customization to distinguish your perfect critter, inspired by comic book stuff or original designs -- maybe wounds from battle can help flavor up your appearance as well. Narrative would obviously be events happening around your character that set the stage for your killing spree. Nothing terribly groundbreaking but I find playing things like this cathartic and relaxing.
Maybe a cart racer with Alien or Pred as guest characters. Alien could drive H.R. Giger's concept for the Batmobile.
I think a Resident Evil 3 style game would be fantastic for Terminator, Predator, or really anything with a big bad that can tank some damage.
Maybe a Robocop game where Lewis has to escape Robocop because his Windows 10 update screwed him up lol.
That just made me think how terrible a shot a Terminator is in comparison to Robocop.

Awhile back I had this idea for a title where one plays as the Alien and has to build a hive. The player would initially egg morph but over time either becomes a Queen or creates a Queen egg which can be used to create more Xenos to assist the player. The kinds of Xenos in play would be dependent on what the facehuggers infect. So a bunch of dogs or ox would create runners or the player could select whether they need drones or warriors. Provided an Egg is still around though the player could respawn at an egg avoiding a game over. And the eggs could be moved and activated at any time so the player could start a hive in one location and make new kinds of Xenomorph there as well. The goal would be to cover the map in hive and dominate it as the Xenomorph.
I could see a multiplayer element to this with people plays as the Marines or other Xeno hives trying to dominate.

Getting Natural Selection vibes with this. I loved playing Extinction for this very reason, it was very relaxing to micromanage your hive, using those fat moo-moo's as cattle for your brood.
An Alien game where you build up and manage your own hive? Man that does sound cool. Something like Empires of The Undergrowth, except with Xenomorphs.
An RTS would be great. Similar to AVP Extinction but updated with more planet colonies and stations, locations etc. That'd be killer. An Alien - Weyland Yutani Open world type would be great too. Decent story, location and gameplay.

Im working on a VR/PC multiplayer AVP2 THEMED hybrid game. AVP2 was my favorite alien game made, and I plan on bringing, ITS LIKENESS to VR, all the while following rules and regulations of copyrights and trademarks laws so I wont get sued.
for now the human will play in VR and the alien in PC. eventually the predator THEMED character will makes its way in to for both PC and VR along with the human. think I will even make the PC multiplayer side FREE TO PLAY, I will have to see what I can get away with
