So it looks like Sega has expanded the creative assembly team by adding a division of Crytek to it. Does this mean they can finally start Alien Isolation 2????

Sadly, probably not.

Aye, I imagine a sequel is a bit of a pipe dream. I do wonder how interested Sega actually is in the property now.

Well with VR kind of taking off Alien Isolation developed as a VR game would sell great with anyone who has a VR headset.

I have no idea how many headsets have been sold though. May not be a market for it yet.

Inverse Effect

Resident evil 7 shows there's still demand in the Genre.

Would love to see CA develop a follow up but sadly such a Project would be determined by SEGA's passion for money - not a passion for the property itself, sadly.

just read a similar article and then found 3 more. Hopefully this is true with a E3 reveal!!!

Would be welcome if it is true.  Why wait for E3 reveal?

4/26 tomorrow.

Well here is how I see it. Fox really wants the Alien franchise to be one of their signature series that they can showcase.

Why not give SEGA the money to get Creative Assemly to continue with the game series that everyone praised (except stupid IGN)

Also like I previously said, a new Alien Isolation type game which this time supports oculus rift type technology is a no brainer. Anyone with that setup would buy Alien Isolation 2 because It would have to be a "must own." It's the perfect game type for that technology when you think about it

SpeedyMaxx

I'd kill for a sequel.

Xenoscream

If I were them I'd do an AI VR DLC to test the water.

IF they do end up working on sequel I think we would likely get the first game in VR as well at some point - which would be amazing.
