Good Ideas on reading rare Predator Book?

I keep hearing so many good things about South China sea but it was written with Gold ink. I've said before, I'm not in the business of buying things for like 100 dollars especially a book, unless it was the original copy of the bible  .

So, is there an online service I could just read it from? my kindle doesn't seem to have access to it, so is there a subscription site people recommend or better yet... free?

not trying to go illegal here btw, just asking for a way I can read this, I need something to occupy my time right now

I tried the library route to no avail. Check out the second hand bookstores around you and thrift stores like Goodwill (again I tried this to no avail but my copy of South China Sea did come from a Goodwill). After years of searching I finally bit the bullet and bought them at ridiculously inflated prices but I totally used my stimulus check money lol so it didn't hurt the wallet quite as much. Shit if we get another round of checks I'll most likely end up buying the rare Predator 2 novelisation.

I recently got a copy of Turnabout and South China Sea very very cheaply. I used a search engine called bookfinder.com. It searches eBay (buy it now only), Amazon, Alibris, AbeBooks and more.

Might have been luck but I got Turnabout for £4.50 and South China Sea for £8. The 2nd hand book market is built on algorithms and prices fluctuate day to day. If one person sells a copy for a low price then most other sellers have a system that will automatically bring their prices down too.

Not saying you'll get lucky too. It required a fair bit of patience - checking bookfinder every other day. But it's worth doing.

You are so right Jack about the "price reduction option" to vendors on Amazon. ABEbooks,bookfinder& Book Depository are owned by Amazon. Another independent book site to check is Biblio.com

I personally prefer AddAll.com over bookfinder as an out of print search/comparison site. It's my go to search for books.

Thanks for the tip. I collect a lot of rare movie and TV spin off books and bookfinder has really helped complete some collections without paying insane prices.

The only Predator novel I need to find now is Simon Hawke's Predator 2 novelisation.
