That's it, that's the name.

Quote from: Nightmare Asylum on Jul 17, 2024, 03:15:39 PMEnd of 2024 at the absolute earliest. Early 2025 more likely, I'd say.

It'd be cool if we get a trailer for ^LICV season 1 in theaters with Romulus.

I think that would just confuse audiences a fair amount, which is the last thing 20th really needs right now. Especially if the show ends up being a diverging continuity (a la the near simultaneous releases of the unconnected Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles [2008-09] and Terminator: Salvation [2009]).

Best to just keep the two projects divorced in the public eye and not promote the series until Romulus has settled into its digital/physical home release.

I can't imagine we get any sort of footage for this show until December 2024 at the earliest. I assume this show doesn't even release until Summer 2025. Hope it's sooner though.

Per Variety, Noah Hailey's series has been given a new name: Alien:Earth

Can't wait to see this! I'm sure this story takes place in a different universe, not connected to the films in any way. That's fine with me. I just want more Alien content. Hopefully, I'm blessed enough to live and see the whole show entirely  :)

They missed a trick not getting the TV series trailer in all Romulus movies.

My hope is that the show will be released by the summer or at the end of summer 2025. I kind of like the idea that the show is its own thing, just like how Fargo the TV show didn't have much to do with the movie.

I'd rather have something new and interesting than another ALIENS: ROMULUS.

Season one of Fargo brought back the money that was buried on the side of the road in the film as a pretty significant plot point.

Poor Kumiko, it's too bad she didn't see that before going treasure hunting...

I don't think the silhouette looks human, I'm guessing it's a new xeno design. With this taking place on earth the possibilities are endless.

Quote from: Acid_Reign161 on Jul 16, 2024, 11:47:25 PMFor me, I think the series oddest choice was not to set it post-Resurrection... Whilst I don't ooze love for that movie, the whole setup of the series appears to be that a ship crashes on Earth and brings the alien with it... they literally had that gift wrapped with the Auriga, and wouldn't have been limited by squeezing it in before 'Alien'. 😅 (also, setting it in a time post-Auton would have given more freedom over synthetic capabilities).

We could have had Winona Ryder and Ron Perlman back. 😢 😭

I know it's hard to tell in the picture, but I still think this "xeno" design looks weird.

It does, but I'm still sure it's supposed to be one, not a ninja (unless it's a ninja in an Alien suit).

I'm not sure if I prefer it to be an alien or not.
